Clean Water Programme Access to clean drinking water remains a critical challenge in Pakistan, with over 70% of the rural population lacking access to safe water sources. This crisis directly impacts the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), which aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water for all by 2030.

Medical Aid to Pakistan aligns its mission with SDG 6, actively working to provide sustainable access to safe drinking water in rural communities. Through our comprehensive Water Filtration Programme and partnerships with local NGOs, we're contributing to multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals Our Impact In line with UN SDG targets 6.1 and 6.B, we've achieved: Installation of 25+ water filtration plants across rural Pakistan Benefited over 50,000 individuals through clean water access Partnered with 12 local NGOs for sustainable project management.
